May 25/2021: Ahoy peeps! I should have mentioned this earlier. Tomorrow, Wednesday May 26, at 5:30 pm I’ll be giving a presentation on Maine Island cruising on behalf of the Maine Island Trail Association. The event is being co-sponsored by the Blue Water Sailing Club. Unfortunately, my co-presenter and good buddy Ben Ellison, per the image up there, will be unable to make it for health reasons.
But I’ll be there for sure. You can register to join the fun at this link here.
As you know I’ve been sailing the Maine coast my whole life. I’ve also been a member of MITA for about 20 years now, basically because sailing about exploring Maine islands is one of my favorite things to do and MITA has done a great job of securing public access to as many islands as possible.
On Merchant’s Row. A scene from last summer’s cruise on the coast
I’ll be discussing my own relationship with the coast and sharing cruising tips and showing off a few of my favorite islands. The whole program should run about 45 minutes, with plenty of time for Q&A and audience participation.
Hope to see you there!
